The Background Story
Inspired by a wide variety of genres such as folk, film scores, blues and by as illustrators like Tove Jansson and Yoshitaka Amono, singer/songwriter Jonathan Hultén’s debut album Chants From Another Place was released in March 2020 and draws you into a deeply reflective and personal world of art and poetry.
Since then, a series of video performances and hand drawn animated music videos have shown that Jonathan’s holistic approach is about creating an immersive, aesthetic experience to sooth all your senses. As a listener and concert visitor you are invited to enter that other place from where the chants are echoing between worlds.
