"It was an absolute honor and a pleasure to be part of Macken Fest. A three day festival
built around a sincere passion for music. Music that is created by bands with a sincere
passion for music. Macken Fest was a truly unique event that took place against all odds.
I’ve been to what seems like a million festivals in my life but none like Macken."

"We are honoured to have been a part of Macken Fest 2022. It's been a bumpy road for
Andrés and the crew, but we were so happy to see that the original vision was maintained,
carried out to perfection and that it worked out so well.
Even though we were far from the most active and hip band in the line-up we were blown
away by the response from all the hemi-heads and motorpsychos in the crowd! Thanks a lot!"

"Diane, it is September 28th we experienced the world of Macken Fest and it was truly
beautiful. The sights. The sounds. The savory beverages and that sweet, sweet cherry pie.
It was a truly unforgettable event, and we are forever grateful to have been a part of it.
Much love."

"Trying to sum up our experience at the incredible Macken Fest is actually beyond our
capacity. It was a whirlwind of amazing gigs, wonderful people, great beers and an immense
atmosphere of wonder. As we all try to get back to the gray reality, the memory of this
magical weekend will keep us going. We are proud to have been a small part of it - it will
stick within our hearts forever."

"We are so thrilled we got the chance to be part of this. A festival filled with unique people and bands, all sharing the same love for good music. And Andres, we truly admire your passion and dedication of making this thing happen. You are a big inspiration, so thank you for not giving up. Cheers!"

"Our experience of the festival known as Macken Fest was in one word: flawless. Talk about
your right people at the right place and so on, it was so on point it was ridiculous. From Ola's
calming voice to Mimi's iron fist, to the sound guy (who’s name I forgot) who fixed the sound
in seconds... just great. And for the rest of the time I can barely remember, it's all a haze of
hugs, ”Hey how are you?” and beer of course, there was a few beers... playing wise it was
great too, two great shows on the small stage, the second one without bass but we pulled
through still, and there was a big sense of FUCKING FINALLY with all covid-setbacks and
because of that the vibe was really great, everybody enjoyed themselves royally to the
insane line up and of course beer. I would probably killed myself if I was in the shoes of
Andres through these years, yes YEARS of trying to pull this one off with bands jumping of
the bill and covid and a list that goes on and on, imagine the heartbreak of all this then you
will comprehend the kind of iron will that must have bordered on lunacy... If there ever was
one to call a fighter, Andrés is the one. We will do this with you anytime brother."

"Macken Fest 2022 will surely go down in Swedish music history as a great, well organized
one-off music event. We are all proud to have been a part of it. We had a blast."

"Diane,
On September 17:th anticipation met reality.
We can’t help but feel as if something of great importance has happened right in front of us,
or was it just the coffee? Whatever it was it was strong and made us long for a refill.
It finally happened. Thank you for joining."

"Great to get back on stage again after a three-year hiatus, and really cool to get to share it
with such a wide range of other acts! Big thanks to Ola and everybody in the sound/stage
crew for the smooth sailing. Thanks to everybody who performed and to everybody who
came out. And especially, hats off for Andres for being so persistent and coming through
with this, even if it probably cost him an ulcer the size of Texas."
